Merchant Navy Notification 2025 Complete Details

Educational Qualifications:

• The applicants for the Deck Rating, Mess Boy, Cook, and Engine Rating post must have passed 10th from the approved school.
• The nominees for the Seaman post must have to complete their 12th and the candidates for the Electrician, Welder/ Helper post must have to clear their 10th, ITI.

Method of Selection:

The written exam and personal interview will conducted by the merchant navy to select the applicants for the post.

Application Cost:

The individuals for the apply category have to submit into the online mode the amount of Rs.100/- for the form deposition.

1. Deck Rating post- 399 seats
2. Cook post-466 seats
3. Engine Rating post- 201 seats

Age Criteria:

Pay Scale:

• For the Electrician post, a salary of Rs 60000- 90000 per month will be given.
• The amount of Rs 50000- 85000 per month will given for the Deck Rating, Seaman, and Welder/ Helper post, and the department pays Rs 40000- 60000 per month for the Mess Boy, Engine Rating, and Cook post.
